  9. Oakenshield started in as Nifelhel, a studio project. In the beginning there were no keyboards or clear vocals, causing a much more raw sound. After 2 CD’s another approach was used and the project was transformed to Oakenshield. The new sound was much more epic, with folk-like elements.
